Massive set pieces . Philippines army taking their helicopters back frequently . Marlon Brando as auteur . Coppola was the head of the 'Film school generation' . Film becoming something you can study . Film becoming more respected as an art (as the studio system has been escaped) giving more freedom to directors w/ less constraints .
